Teton Regional Land Trust – Graham Wildlife Habitat Reparian Restoration Project
This project restored native riparian and upland woody vegetation along and between two channels of Buffalo Fork Creek, and spring creek tributary of the Teton River. The primary goal was to re-connect riparian and upland vegetation between two reference sites that allowed improved productivity of wetland and riparian breeding birds by establishing dense riparian cover and large woody vegetation suitable for nesting and brood rearing. Additional benefits were improvements securing cover for movement provided to other wildlife species such as moose, elk, and white-tailed deer, improved available nesting habitat for neo-tropical bird species, and improved habitat for amphibians and reptiles.
