The Teton Regional Land Trust purchased wetland islands to improve the wetland habitat chosen for trumpeter swan cygnet placement.  This project helped establish nesting flocks of trumpeter swans in the Teton Valley by the installation of bird diverters to prevent trumpeter swan mortality, and provided educational opportunities about the iconic species.
