Post Sharps Fire Stream & Wet Meadow Restoration – Idaho Wildlife Federation
A group of partners has come together to help lands in the Pioneer Mountains which burned 65,000 acres in the 2018 fire. This project will target stream restoration (across five miles that burned) to improve sage grouse habitat, increase wet meadow habitat, address erosion, improve riparian health, increase productivity for wildlife and livestock, improve fish habitat, improve water quality, and mitigate impacts of climate change.
