To partner with the community, Deerflat NWR, Friends of Deer Flat, the DeerFlat Chapter of Idaho Master Naturalists, and the Nampa Garden Club to expand a pollinator garden located between the Refuge Visitor Center and Lake Lowell. This is currently unmaintained. The restored 30’x50′ space will be transformed into a covered gathering space, pathways and seating that are ADA compliant, bilingual educational signage, multi-cultural design elements, and planted with native plants that provide seasonal flowing and attract a variety of pollinators.
