MK Nature Center – Education & Artistic Enhancement of the MK Nature Center’s Streamwalk Alpine Lake Window

This project helped fund the second phase of enhancing the aquatic wildlife viewing windows at the MK Center.  “The Alpine Lake” window is the largest, most popular and is where the Center does most of its substantial formal and informal education.  This window is the centerpiece of the nature center.  Phase two refers to the addition of a blend of art and education to adorn the concrete infrastructure at the underwater viewing windows with a nature scene featuring Idaho fish and wildlife, the salmon life cycle, macro invertebrates and aquatic plant life, and birds and mammals commonly found in Idaho aquatic environments.
