This habitat improvement project was part of an Adopt-A-Wetland program that was being established at Deer Parks WMU by the Upper Snake Chapter of the Idaho Master Naturalist with adjacent work that was to be performed at Gem State WHA.  The habitat improvement consisted of the purchasing/constructing, installation, monitoring, and annual cleaning of wood duck nest boxes at two sites.
