The Nature Conservancy (TNC) will use these funds to help acquire a conservation easement on 1,425 acres of the Hanging T Ranch, located in the heart of TNC’s Upper Salmon program geography in central Idaho. Due to its size, freshwater values and proximity to existing protected areas, the project represents an unprecedented conservation opportunity of critical importance to the survival of salmon in the Pacific northwest.
