Friends of the Teton River – Buxton River Park Habitat Restoration
Buxton River Park Habitat Restoration – This streambank stabilization and habitat restoration project is located on the 80-acre property that encompasses the Bates Bridge river access point to the Teton River and the Buxton River Park, which were acquired in 2017 by Teton County and conservation partners for improved public access/safety and to rehabilitate valuable fish and wildlife habitat. This grant funded to the Friends of the Teton River will help restore properly functioning habitat and create continuity with the habitat upstream of the Bates Bridge to help increase trout populations.
