Enforcement Bureau K9 Program

The Idaho Fish & Wildlife Foundation is currently fundraising for the K9 Program in the Enforcement Bureau with the Idaho Department of Fish & Game. These K9s are used to aide enforcement through training in man tracking, wildlife detection (like narcotic dogs), and evidence recovery.

Through the generous donations from individuals like you and other organizations, the Idaho Department of Fish and Game Enforcement Bureau is able to cover on-going costs associated with the program.

The Idaho Department of Fish and Game started a K9 Team in 2010 with Officer Stirling and K9 Pepper. In 2015, Officer Klucken with K9 Dexter and Officer Haag with K9 Hudson were added to the team. In 2017, Officer Mickelson and K9 Blue joined the team.
