Hilarie Engle joined the Idaho Fish & Wildlife Foundation as the Executive Director, February 9, 2017. Welcome to the team!
In Hilarie’s own words: “As a native Idahoan, I am excited to be part of the team that is working to preserve our wild and open spaces. Idaho is a special place to call home, and I am passionate about being active and engaged in the community.
For the past 8 years, I have served as the Executive Director of the Idaho Montana Affiliate, Susan G. Komen. A career in nonprofits has given me the opportunity to see perspectives from many positions in a small to large nonprofit. I also spend part of my time volunteering with the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce Leadership Boise Program, currently serving as Past Chair of the Alumni Association.
In my spare time, I enjoy exploring Idaho with my two German Shepherds-from hiking in the Boise foothills, hiking in the mountains and skiing around the state.
My Motto: Things can change quickly in the current environment, if you aren’t willing to bend, or turn completely around, you may miss an opportunity. “
